Research

My research is most concerned with how the "intangibles" of politics--beliefs, ideology, norms, perception, and identity--influence political outcomes, decision-making, behavior, and attitudes. To that end, my research spans a wide range of topics and touches on a variety of disciplines, including sociology, psychology, history, and international political economy.
